I believe…

That you can accomplish anything you put your mind too.
That you must reach out for life, because it is not going to come in and get you.
That you can have anything you want.
That we must play and try things that we don’t think will work.
That you were born with the ability to solve all your own life challenges.
That we have the power, at any given moment, to say this is not how my story is going to go.
That we need to have the mentality of let’s see what’s going to happen next.

Hi, I am Heather Siewell and I am your Coach.

My Ah-ha Moment:

In 2013 I found myself at the end of a very difficult divorce, I was lost. The best way I can describe this is face down in the dark.  Unfortunately or fortunately,  depending upon how you want to look at it, up until this point I had not had a lot of bad or unfortunate life experiences.  So being in a place that felt foreign and uncertain was very difficult for me. I later learned that I was in transition.  Everything in my life had been flipped upside down and I was lost trying to make sense of it.  A few years after this my daughter experienced a horrific trauma.  These experiences solidified my understanding of what uncertainty feels like from a parental standpoint as well as first-hand.  I know what giving up one future for another that you never imagined feels like. I know how it feels to loose everything and start again.  These transitions are hard, and I wandered and searched for a while before I took the leap and stepped into my future.

As Your Coach:

We will meet weekly or bi-weekly and together we will develop an action plan that will design your future the way you imagine. I understand that change can be frightening. In reality it presents to us as uncertainty, fear, and a lot of sleepless nights. Taking the time to design and live out our true purpose or find meaning out of a horrific life event is not only heartwarming and fulfilling, but where our true power lies. I love helping my clients who are stuck, lost, in transition, or just uncertain and unsure of the next step develop and embrace a self-awareness that allows them to fulfill their true purpose and embrace their life.

As your Academic Coach:

Still today, I kind of admire the kids that had ONE thing they wanted to do since they were three years old and drove in a straight line towards it. I, like most kids, was always uncertain and wanted to try it all. Although trying it all is not a bad thing, it needs to be a conscious choice and not a choice made from indecision or being afraid to choose. I support teens and young adults on their journey to success by helping them design an action plan and sprint after their dreams. As a passionate Professional Coach, I really love working with teens and young adults. I enjoy seeing the delight upon my clients face when the ideas start churning and they realize that their academic and life success is within their control.

The self-awareness taught in our sessions is invaluable. I love helping my clients climb their tallest mountains and sprint after all their dreams.

A few fun facts about me:

I have two mostly amazing teenagers.
I procrastinate on some things, but not the things I am 99% certain about.
I’d rather give the gift of experience then material.
I turn around all the time to make sure my flat iron is unplugged.
I hate slow drivers and chocolate cake.
I am an amateur zentangle artist and a try-to-be fitness guru.
I spend way too much free time on puzzles.
When analyzing life’s challenges, I have a bad habit of envisioning worst case scenario’s.

So now the only question is, what are you waiting for?

Let’s get started today!
